SUMMARY OF INFORMATION                                                         
                                                                               
CHARLES FRENCH, Representative, Gas Research Institute, described              
the functions of the Gas Research Institute.                                   
                                                                               
EDWARD PATTEN, Technical Project Leader, Southwest Research                    
Institute, presented an overview of the Southwest Research                     
Institute and answered the committee's questions.
